an update from the Sun Times last night -
"Oak Park-River Forest will try to find out just how good it is without standout point guard Ka’Darryl Bell.

The Bradley University-bound Bell injured his right wrist Dec. 3, when he fell hard to the floor attempting a layup
in the first quarter against Downers Grove South. After getting a second opinion, Bell discovered last week
that he has torn ligaments in his wrist and will remain out of the lineup until early January.

“He will not need surgery as of now,” said OPRF coach Matt Maloney. “We are hoping that the injury heals faster
than expected and he returns sooner than we originally thought.”

Some good news for Bradley fans-
2012 recruit Ka'Darryl Bell had his cast removed from his right wrist today, and will begin some rehabon the wrist tomorrow.

Yes, that is good news but, better news would be he graduates at semester and plays PG for us this semester coming up.

Nobody has said for sure if Ka'Darryl Bell will return from his injury in the Pontiac Holday Tournament - but the PJS preview of the tourney seems to hint so-

              Ka'Darryl update
As the OPRF boys basketball team prepared for the critical second half of the season, we caught up with head coach Matt Maloney and asked him a few questions about the team’s development. The Huskies, who made it out of the tough Pontiac Holiday Tournament with a 1-2 finish, are currently 10-3 overall and a perfect 4-0 in West Suburban (Silver) Conference play.
