I think it would make a big difference - it would be far worse to hurt your shooting hand

Hopefully everything is minor and KB will be back quickly.
              Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Ka'Darryl Bell's OPRF (5-1) squad won last night without him...coming off the loss in last game...
57-40 over Elmhurst York (3-3 - Al Biancalana's squad from last year)

"The Huskies have their fingers crossed as Bell has his right hand examined
by a specialist today. The Bradley recruit suffered a wrist injury in the first
quarter of Saturday’s 54-44 loss to Downers Grove South. The Huskies aren’t
                  sure when he’ll return.

“We don’t exactly know, but hopefully it’s good news because if it’s a sprain
we can get him back pretty quick,” Maloney said.

The Huskies got things done a bit differently in Bell’s absence.

“Ka’Darryl can get to the rack at any time,” Levin said. “We just have to
move the ball a lot more and use our offense.”

“It’s a big loss, obviously,” Nesnidal said. “He’s a high Division I player. It
takes a lot away from the team, but we’ve got players on the bench who are
ready to step up. Honestly, I didn’t see a difference tonight. He brings a lot
more offense, but the defense was the same. It was a great team effort.”

                  More

Iman Shumpert's jersey retired by OPRF
Iman Shumpert is apparently the only person to have his jersey number officially retired by OPRF High School. That's quite interesting, considering the school is more than a century old.

The only silver lining to this gray cloud is hopefully other renegade major schools will now avoid trying to recruit KDB away from his BU committment!

Heal up KDB, BU faithful are very excited looking forward to your arrival!
