Just illustrating that Les's and Altman's first three years were more or less rebuilding years and could be set aside when evaluating a coach's resume.

      But of course Altman was a far superior coach than Les was, but that's not a knock on Les. Altman is far superior to the vast majority of coaches in the game now, though we'll see how he does the next year or two at Oregon as well.
      Got it....it will be interesting to see how Dana does the next several years at Oregon. I hope he does well

        So do I. I root for many of the former Valley coaches amongst the BCS teams. Even Bruce Weber!
