Boise State scored two points. Beyond that, I don't know.

anyone know why the PJS said the MVC-MWC Challenge was 4-2 at this point with the Valley winning only two games?
"The Lobos gave the MW a 4-2 advantage over the MVC"

BUT - every source I can find says that
                  Drake beat Air Force
                  Creighton beat SDSU
                  and UNI beat Colorado State
and BU, UE, MSU, and both ISU's lost - giving the MWC a 5-3 advantage

In the Valley games last night..

Drake was lucky to beat Air Force - they shot terribly in the 2nd half - and as usual RR took 14 shots to get 15 pts

Colt Ryan took 17 shots but scored 31 pts..but no other Aces player scored more than 8

Reading the Indiana State/Boise State box score is like trying to read a menu in a Greek restauant!
                  ...HADZIOMEROVIC, DRMIC, ELORRIAGA, BROPLEH....
..and Carl Richard - zero rebounds...in fact only FIVE Sycamore players even grabbed ONE rebound!!

Missouri State was out of their game early & trailed by 16 at half,
New Mexico shot 35 FT and MSU shot 5 - one of the biggest discrepancies I have ever seen..

And lastly -- 0-5 Wilmington comes into Bloomington and beats ISU??
..and it doesn't even look like it was that close!!
John Wilkins was scoreless...what the hey??
Lots and lots of empty seats even in ticketed areas of the lower bowl at courtside...despite announced attendance of 5000 "butts in seats?

The Illinois State loss wasn't against a MWC team.....MWC has a 4-3 advantage going into today's game between UNLV and Wichita.

...well, I was counting the ISU loss against the newest MWC member Fresno State - even though it wasn't officially part of the Challenge

                      One note...
UC-Davis lost last night but Tyler Les had yet another fine game!
Good for Tyler - he was 4-10 from 3-pt range and tied his career high 12 pts..
UC-D certainly had an empty cupboard so Coach Les will have a rough year but...
Tyler is averaging 8 ppg and hitting 40% on 3's over the past 7 games...

One more nice perk for the Les' - every year UC-D plays at som ereally nice places - playnig all up and down the west coast..
but this year they have a road trip to...Hawaii !!!...
and now that Hawaii joins the Big West in basketball it'll become a regular trip!!! Nice...

Good for Tyler. UC-D loses at home again and is now 1-7; here's the story -- http://www.ucdavisaggies.com/sports/...120311aaa.html

It's a good thing they play in such nice places since it appears the cupboard was left just as bare at UC-D as it was here at Bradley.

I wish I could understand why the need to continue the unjustified shots at the previous coaching staff? The cupboard was not left bare. When the previous coach was fired, the BU roster included at least 2 certain All MVC players in Sam and Taylor, plus a returning multi year starting center in Will Egolf, and DSE who is one of the top guards in the MVC and who was one of the top returning scorers in the Valley. The roster also included Jordan Proser, who is our most reliable big man, and another starter in WL. And I haven't even mentioned the fine incoming recruiting class. Lets stop the silliness about the cupboard being bare. When are we going to stop blaming JL?

Nonsense......it will be five years before we're able to compete.

Probably about the same time we realize that slamming the current coach and players is a waste of time. How many times will we hear SM could be leading a 1-loss or 2- loss BU team right now.

SM left BU. He chose to leave BU. Not the other way around.

I am happy for him that he is doing well.

However, blaming the current coach for that or the players that actually STAYED and are playing for BU is insane.

It's early in the 1st year of a long process. BU hasn't competed for a conference title in over a decade....a new coach can't change that in 2 months.

                              give it time

                              Go Bradley

One word Da Coach -- D-E-P-T-H! It's been an ongoing problem. Even Stevie Wonder can see that.
