First the negatives: Other than TB and DSE, we do not have any shooters. I do not want to see Eastman ever taking another 3 point shot. SS should not dribble the ball through traffic. He has Jordan's number 23, but not the ball handling skills. I think this is one of the worst teams in free throw shooting I have seen. Too many turnovers. Now the positives: DSE is one tough guard. I think Walter Lemon is getting better. AT can help at times both on offense and defense. This team has a lot of heart and does not give up. I do not expect many wins this year, but I am going to support this team.
Yeah, I was at the game Friday night and the Bradley fans were definitely into the game, especially while they made their run late in the first half. Agree about SS or any others who try dribbling through too many players. We are skilled enough to do that, so it can't hurt to take a little extra time to set up a good shot if the inside lane is blocked. Also agree that AT seems to be stepping up his game a bit. Hopefully that trend will continue.

Coach Ford talked about a need for some practice time in the post-game tonight.

I think this team's weaknesses were exposed the last week or so. We are not deep, and we don't have a ton of scorers.

I think this team will get better in finding ways to get easy looks on O. I like that we switch D's during the games.

I think GF will get this team to make some adjustments before the next game at Wyoming.

I think he will too, particularly on the offensive side. I know we have had some discussions on the board this week regarding what type of offensive schemes he should run, but I do believe no matter what he chooses to do, this team will improve in the scoring department throughout the season.

I hope you are correct in that we improve offensively because as of now we are only better then SIU in the Valley which means we are headed to thurs. night, its a shame that our team defense has improved but we are having so much trouble shooting the 3 and freethrows, also someone off the bench needs to step up and contribute more consistently as Jake and A.T. have at times , thought J.C. would contribute more then he has so far this season.
