If Geno doesn't work out, we try again with another coach. But to say we will never be back up to the level Bradley has been in the past is really hard to believe!

3-5 years..... That's usually the way it works when you change coaches at the mid-major level. I'd be happy to follow WSU's or MSU's model.

Exactly. I keep saying it took Dana Altman four years to even get Creighton into the NIT. The fourth year is usually when the team is made up mostly of the new coach's recruits. This is why I hate seeing posters here giving grades to Geno after a handfull of games. I personally think it was a nicely coached game which just happened to come down with our lack of free throws and a couple of stretches where we couldn't throw the ball into the ocean.

Oh well. Go get them in Wyoming next week! It will be a tough but winnable road game.

The frustration is that with a good team around him TB could be special. He deserves more than I feel like this team can give him, especially considering how much he has grown and what he has had to go through.

I was asking what people thought as a whole, I personally think it will take until that team. As we will lose a playmaker (TB, DSE) each year before then. I wasn't trying to insinuate that I thought the team would never be good again, just wanted to leave an option for those who did.

I don't think the free throws were this bad any year under Les. Losing SM really hurt us, and the rest outside of TB and DSE just aren't getting it done at the FT line. And even they have off games too.
