  • Bradley stats thru the Wisconsin game...

TB with 18 pts and 8.8 rbs per game......NICE!

for some reason DSE is on the list twice....but the Braves are shooting 24% from three and 61% from the FT line....both must improve in order to get some W's!

The 24% 3 pt FG shooting and 62% FT shooting are the two stats that will be the Achilles heel of this team all year.

We are below one on our assists to turnover ratio; not good. Likewise, our assists per game are only 11.

As a point of reference Creighton is #1 in the country at just over 23 assists per game and #2 nationally with an assist to turnover ratio of 1.87.

      Play DStew, please!

With the way this team shoots, I don't know how many assists are being left on the floor.

Hard to get assists when all our guards do is drive the lane and throw the ball up and as old coach says our shooting is so bad.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

Yes...DStew is going to magically get assists by dribbling the ball up the floor. I understand the frustration but, how, exactly would things be better if DStew played?

Do you think hes going to be driving by people and dishing to open guys for three point shots or something?

Besides..the guys with negative A/TO ratios are Jordan Prosser and Shayok Shayok. The starting guards are in the plus department. Maybe we should look at JP and SS when it comes to turnovers instead of automatically turning on new found whipping boy Walt Lemon, Jr.

D.S. cannot play good enough defense and cannot get shots because of his size and lack of quickness, also we have trouble getting assists because defenses sag inside and we are not a good shooting team, W.L. is not the problem and yes he is not a true point guard, hopefully the team can make adjustments or we are in for a long season and a play in game on Thurs. night.

Love what WL brings in energy...we need him...like some have mentioned above...we need to shoot better...then the assists will go up...

Bottom line...I enjoy watching these guys play hoops...get Nevada!

Walt is not the new found whipping boy. He is simply doing without any complaints what is being asked of him by the staff!

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Agreed...I would like to see DStew get some time, but that is not a knock on Walt...like mentioned before...love his energy and speed...makes the game enjoyable to watch...

Double agree. I wasn't knocking Walt; love what the kid brings. He's a special talent who will eventually be a shining star. I'd just love to see more of DStew. I understand he may be a defensive liability but I can't help but think there are times he could be on the floor with either Walt or DSE.

Some kind of wacky bug in the stats file that either created two Dyricuses or added Nate to the stats. Finally had to re-keystroke the box score manually. Hopefully the stats are now resolved.

if we had landed Josh Gasser or someone who shoots like him - we'd be 6-0 or at least 5-1 - we gotta get a shooter...
