Theron Wilson returns from his injury and has another monster game...
15 pts, 13 rebs but it wasn't enough as TWO other top players on the Supercats were out with injury

Just a couple followups of some way OLD GUYS!
-BU guard from the late 70's Bobby Humbles is still active and playing in the local tennis tourneys
-and I ran across this fairly new site that highlights baseball player out of the 1950's Joe Napoli - who led the nation in batting average when he played as a Brave!

another followup -- ex-Brave Antoine Tisby, who played in the Candian pro league last year...
has signed with a new team, Ocean Gold Nuggets, in New Zealand...
Their season has already started but Tisby is out with injury...
Here's a followup trivia question - who is the ex-BU basketball player pictured....?

Theron Wilson has been hot - has his averages up to 20.1 ppg & 8 rpg
In the last few weeks he's had some pretty special games...
29 pts, 8 rebs..
39 pts, 10 rebs..
31 pts, 10 rebs
..also getting 2-3 steals in each game...
but his contract with Geelong has expired, season ended, and Theron has now left the team - he is back, now, in the US...and working on either a new contract or extension...

Here's a name from the distant past....
James Hamilton - ex-BU Brave who had a LONG career in Great Britain - has now returned as coach of Cheshire Jets
Hamilton played his freshman and sophomore seasons at BU before transferring to Iowa State (where he played along side Fred Hoiberg)
Here are his stats at Bradley:
1990-1991, Fr: 226 pts, 28 games, 8.1 ppg, 6.6 rpg
1991-1992, So: 379 pts, 28 games, 13.5 ppg, 7.3 rpg
he left just as Albeck was fired...
sadly James' performance at Iowa State hints he may have been better off staying at BU as after he sat out a year he
ended up playing two more years as a sub averaging only 3.4 ppg,

good & bad news for Zach Andrews...he was evaluated by one of the top ortho docs in Italy and they did confirm the medial collateral ligament injury - but it is not severe, will not need therapy, and is expected to heal with physical therapy allowing Zach back in four weeks.

I guess they're using Cellus as their "poster boy"....but I don't think this pic is Cellus - he has no tats on his left arm..

However - the Jets's site now lists Bill Cole as having left the team and NOT been re-signed.
The Cheshire Jets just changed owners and hired Hamilton as a new head coach but I am not sure why they wouldn't make every effort to lock Cole in since he was one of their best players.
