Former Bradley point guard Joel Okafor, who was one of Coach Wardle's first recruits back in April, 2015, spent his freshman season as a reserve at Bradley. Then he transferred to NAIA powerhouse Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana, and he has already been a part of an NAIA National Championship team as a junior last season.
Joel was mostly a reserve as a sophomore at IWU (2016-17), but he was the starter and one of the key players as a junior last season helping to lead IWU to the 2018 NAIA Division II National Championship.
Now he returns for his senior season with Indiana Wesleyan.
Indiana Wesleyan already started their 2018-19 season with a 38 point win this past Saturday-

Other former Bradley players with eligibility left-
Davante Cooper spent a year at a junior college, and this will be his second season at Washington State, where he will be a senior. He played very little last season and average 1.4 ppg and 1.2 rpg-
Scottie James will be a junior at Liberty University this season. Liberty just moved to the Atlantic Sun Conference starting this season, and they were picked to finish 3rd in the preseason polls. Scottie was picked to the All Conference team in the A-Sun preseason poll. He was also All Conference in the Big South last season.
Scottie lead the team last year in both scoring and rebounding with 13.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game.
Ronnie Suggs will be a junior this season at Missouri. He sat out last season as a transfer.
Josh Cunningham will be a senior this season at Dayton. He left Bradley after the 2014-15 season, then sat out his first year at Dayton (2015-16), then ended up playing in only 11 games his second season (2016-17) due to injury. But then he returned last year (2017-18 ) and played in all 31 games for Dayton and lead the team with 15.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
Callum Barker will be a senior at NAIA Missouri Baptist University this season after spending his first 3 seasons at Bradley.-
Lou Griffith after a season playing for NJCAA Division II Lincoln College where he averaged 9.3 ppg and 2.8 apg, will be a sophomore at NCAA Division II St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY. He is now listed as Louis Griffith-
Ryan Stipanovich is a sophomore at University of Missouri, and as we first reported here, he has given up playing college basketball and is only pursuing academics.
Jerome Merritt left Bradley after a redshirt freshman season (2016-17). He played last season at College of Central Florida. He is not on this year's roster, and we have not found where he might be playing this year.
