As I keep looking at the thread title....I just don't think it's possible to have a great effort and unacceptable loss....
If a team gives a great effort than I don't believe the loss is unacceptable...doesn't mean I like it any better but it wasn't because of lack of effort....I'm not specifically talking about the Wofford game but any team in any game...

Shooting against Wisconsin and its players/defense and then Bradley and its players/defense is quite different. At one point vs. Wisconsin Wofford was 4-27 from the floor. I don't think it had anything to do with the shooting background at the Kohl Center and everything to do with the players on the floor for the Badgers.
#10 is a very, very good shooter. Just watch the kid shoot it. Same for #2. They got shots they could make against BU and hardly a sniff against the Badgers.

Talk about FALLOUT, BU lost Granger, Tisby and Tucker in 2002-3 after Mo was let go!
Change is difficult!
Re grading GF's FY incoming players after 4 games, here were the previous coach's first couple recruiting classes:
2002-3 ...... Danny Adams (recruited walk on), Steve Marcetic, Chris Mroz, Jabbar Battle, Joey Paul and Ryan Sunley
Avg 0.9 ppg total in 2002-3
2003-4 ..... Kevin Jones, Michael Rembert, JJ Tuai
Avg 7.4 ppg total in 2003-4
2004-5 ..... Jeremy Crouch, Danny Ruffin, Patrick O'Bryant, Sam Singh, Lance Stemler and Montana Heirman
Avg 27.7 ppg total in 2004-5 (Best incoming class for JL?)
Wasn't till the 3rd year before enough quality recruits turned up on BU's roster after the last change.
Patience folks. Give it some time....Support your current BU players and Coach through the transition!

?? we seem to be preaching to the choir or at least beating a dead horse...
the only thing this seems to prove is what most of us are saying....
how tough it can be to try to win in the first season with someone else's players - when a new coach is trying to rebuild...no matter how good they are and no matter whether they stay or leave...

If BU is still finishing near the bottom of the league and the talent level hasn't increased in 3-4 years then, ok, fine, complain. But good grief get some perspective.

However, after victories there are one thread after another with positive thoughts and opinion. You have to expect the same after a disappointing loss. Have to disagree that supporters, as I consider myself, tend to stay away from argumentative threads. Many of the same posters post in practically every thread. Nothing wrong with that. That's what this forum is all about.
