Guess who they pick Numero uno, one day after losing to ORAL ROB? Yup right on the cover #1 Kansas.
Other Notables: Creighton 13, The Shockers 16, The Salukis are #20, and Mo. State 45. Great Valley representation!
The Illini come in at 33, one up on Indiana, who lost to unranked Butler.

Mine has Wisconsin on the cover. I think the jinx is who is on the cover. Not the print that is on it. Right? If not it's gonna be a long year for Wichita and Creighton.

SI ran regional covers, much like last spring's Sweet 16 editions, so Kansas did appear on the cover in Plains states editions.
