Hmmmm -- highly touted Stan Simpson was scoreless with a missed shot & a turnover in his 2 minute stint for Memphis...

Drake falls to 3-2 with a loss to Virginia - another BCS opportunity lost...
Virginia shot 52% while Drake 39% and 20% from 3-pt

Drexel won by 23 and George Washington is hammering Detroit by 22 halfway thru the game

good - that's a game that a team projected in the upper half of the MVC absolutely SHOULD not lose...so we dodged another embarrassment
a few other odd scores on the newswire..Boston College got creamed by a mid-major and UCLA losing to Chaminade!!

Well, I'm more concerned with Bradley, and the Valley contenders beating the BCS teams (ie: Creighton and WSU) than with Drake as they were not expected to do much this year. However, it would have been nice for Drake to win as this would have helped the Valley as a whole. They've played tough though in their two games agains BCS teams.

Our non-conference schedule is as tough as I've ever seen. Wisconsin, Michigan, Drexel, George Washington. And not counting BYU or Nevada. None being played in Carver. Good luck guys.
What part of illegal don't you understand?
