There is a HUGE nod of respect to coach Willie Scott in between the lines in that article. Who knows who he might have kept at BU by holding things together as we transitioned.

      Thanks for plugging my story.

Prosser wasn't getting any love before the season by much of the local media, so when my editor said I could pick whoever to interview from the team, I jumped at Prosser. Hopefully there will be a lot more, and a lot better, articles written about him soon.

Nice job on the article. JP is one person we just can't lose this year. If he can hit consistantly from 17ft or play at 1/3 of Dirk...wow.

Even if Will wasn't injured, Prosser would have started at the 5, and Will at the 4.

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

That's something I would REALLY love to do. No matter how good or mediocre a team is, the team always has an interesting story and a bunch of really different guys.

I will most definitely let you know. Thanks for the offer! I really want to write for a living, but write for what is still up in the air.

This morning on his radio show...
Geno Ford specifically named Jordan Prosser as the team's MVP so far.

No doubt Jordan has been the one player to exceed expectations the most, but several others have played well. I suspect Geno's naming JP might also be a little bit of a motivation technique directed toward the other guys.
