Saw some of the game vs Michigan...Billy Molinari was playing well, but appeared to hurt his knee...in a lot of pain...WIU was giving Mich all they could handle.....

Sadly, Billy's knee injury looks serious....Coach Jim Molinari said
"it looks like a torn ACL."
Billy's already lost two years - one to redshirt and one to injury

After WIU's big win over league rival NDSU Coach Molinari had a great line about one of his players..calling him a phrase I have never heard before...
"Terell (Parks) is a warrior," said Leathernecks head coach Jim Molinari.
"He's a stats-nugget. He scores, he made a great shot and he had 15 rebounds..."

This is season 4 for Coach Mo..he is 29-60..this is the fourth year and I am sure he will get it turned around and make the tournament this year..good thing WIU admin dont care about wins..see WIU in March.Comment

their admin knows last year was devastated by 7 serious injuries - just about every key player went out...
and they see he is building with quality kids who play hard and are headed towards inprovementComment

A very successful high major D1 coach told me one time "Nice kids will cost you your job sooner or later". Not saying I agree or disagree with that statement but it has always stuck with me.Comment
