  • Mad Props to the Students!

Awesome turnout, awesome volume, awesome enthusiasm. You helped will this team to victory, and were called out specifically by the players on the postgame show. JP even said he wants more games on campus if the students are going to turn out in droves like they did tonight.

How can we carry this over to Carver???

Simple keep winning and I think in time we will. Gotta be patient. Great job tonight. That was fun.

the food was cheap - 50 cent hot dogs, and with the low ticket prices for students and the late rally around campus to get the kids there -- it worked out great!

          Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I would hope this exciting finish made at least 100 of the 1,400 students want to come to Carver Arena consistently. That should fill up a good portion of the student section.

If an exciting finish like this didn't generate more interest, then nothing will except for consistent winning. The Admins and players shouldn't have to beg students to come to their games, especially if they only have to walk a couple blocks to the Renaissance Coliseum, like they had to do for last nights game.
