  • Who will be Valley Player of the Week?

I think JP has a decent shot at it - but I have to think whoever does the selecting is gonna want to showcase Doug McDermott (2 CU wins/17 ppg & 6 rpg)

Wichita's David Kyles had 19 pts on 5-8 from the arc,
...but it won't be Weems (only 4 pts in their game)

Only four players are in the TOP 10 in both scoring and rebounding -- guess who...
...Taylor Brown, Drake's Aaron Hawley, SIU's Mamdou Seck (but ISU lost), and Evansville's Colt Ryan.

BTW -- note that among Valley teams only ONE team is committing FEWER turnovers than BU in the early going..

My guess is Colt - with 23 points, while poor fg %, was a huge win for the Valley.

could be but he did shoot only 27% and had more TO than assists

Surely we can rule out any team that either lost or ho played a D-II
so I think it'll be JP, Kyles, McDermott, or Colt
They did a Player of the Week award on Nov. 15 last year after just one weekend of games - so I hope they do it ..
