Chicago State has a 345 RPI (roughly), Charleston Southern 252, and UMKC 312

..not a good day for MVC teams to be building resumes - especially after the debacles of this week's losses already to Fresno & Ohio Dominican

Thus far - I disagree with those who say the Valley is looking good....

I think if the valley goes 3-0 today there will be SOME cause for optimism, for the most part teams are winning the games that they should be. We have had seasons in recent memory where there have been some utterly inexcusable losses by the handful early on.

Very good week for the Valley. We can excuse the bottom 2 teams failing the league if everyone else does their job. I'm more worried about the mid-level teams winning the games they're supposed to and the NCAA contenders win every conceivable game possible.

Also, not pretending that IlSU is part of the valley helps.

I know it's really early but when the MVC stats are out Monday morning -

Bradley will have two of the top four scorers in the Valley
and will have by the leading rebounder
We'll also have the best FT shooter who has more than 6 attempts, plus another player tied for 5th

As long as Bradley keeps winning I don't care. Last year we had the leading scorer and look what it got us.
