The semi-final game is at halftime right now, 0-0 score. The Braves are lucky to be tied, as they have been outplayed by Creighton. Bradley's second best player, Christian Meza, left the game with an injury in the first, which hasn't been helping matters.

And again, the MVC provides an outstanding video link if any care to catch the second half

Thanks spoon. I was just about to look for this. Glad I haven't missed much.

Haven't missed too much. A couple Creighton near-misses, and a Creighton crossbar. Billings has been playing out of his mind, but I'm not sure how much longer we'll be able to withstand the CU pressure.

Man! CU is REALLY good! Billings is saving the day, for sure.

Jinxed it. Creighton up 1-0. It's gonna take a minor miracle today for Bradley to come back in this game. It's being dominated by Creighton right now.

It's a real pleasure to watch such a great team. Unfortunately, it's at our expense. CU may have 4 before this one's over..... Hope I'm wrong.

I wish we could play like they do. I understand that we've been winning this year with our strategy, but Creighton plays such a smooth and calculated game. They bring the ball up the pitch with such precision, it's really a pleasure to watch. It can sometimes be pretty frustrating watching Bradley's dump-and-chase offense.

That's called talent spoon. CU and top tier teams like Akron, Maryland, Wake Forest, and others are WAY ahead of Bradley in the talent department. That's why they can play that style and we cannot. To win again these top tier teams BU must play ugly and get lucky breaks to win. When we don't score first then we're pretty much done.

BU trails 1-0 with 10 minutes to go. I'll take that since it seems like we've been out shot 10:1...... We've still got a shot.

We win because we have a decent defense, and you're right in that luck has definitely been on our side this year. I recall most of our goals have come off of just packing the opponents box and hoping they can't clear. And I know everyone believes Gaul is our best player, but we have missed Meza this game because he seems to be the only one capable of a good pass or through-ball offensively. This game seems to be over, so the best thing to do now is hope that Meza is healthy for the tournament, since I think we're on the good side of the bubble.

EDIT: As soon as I type that the game is over, Gaul gets the best chance of our game. Still 1-0, but I guess it ain't over yet!

Gaul with a beautiful move..... nearly scored. Still down 1-0.

I agree spoon that Meza may be our MVP.

Definitely. Gaul is a great scorer, but he's by no means an all-around player.

Final 1-0 CU. Time to sit back and cross our fingers that we make the tourney.
