I'd say that's probably about how many minutes he'll average on the season in the games he plays in. I expect he'll play in around 70% of the games with a few games off during multi-game weeks. I think he'll probably average a few more ppg, maybe 8-9. Regardless, this was a good pickup for Illinois as a Sam Maniscalco at 60% can still be a good role player and steadying influence on the younger players. It looks like his transfer is probably working out best for all parties involved -- Sam, Illinois, and even BU.

he played more than senior Matt Roth -- - either one could be playing a bunch at BU

GEEZ! We can't have moral victories when it comes to the mid's beating great teams. Belmont needed to finish the job. Oh well. Great effort nonetheless, and I hope if BU loses to some bad teams the critics don't get too hard on Geno. We can always point to this game as an example that ANY team can have a bad game like this.

I have been tracking the game since the 15:00 mark of the 2nd half, and they had 36.
Now at 4:00 left, they have just 41.
Looks like they will struggle on the offensive end this year.

And Fresno doesn't look good at all.
This once again enforces my theory of why we will have no business finishing behind this team this year! I don't know where Fresno is predicted to finish this year, but my guess is not too high in their conference either.

Lol! I like that TAS. The "non-ISU games". It's the rest of the Valley and ISU-red.

As much as I agree that we expect ISU to play like garbage this year, unfortunately even one horrendously bad team can seriously damage any conference's chances of getting that extra NCAA bid. Well maybe not the Big East last year as DePaul was one of the worst teams in Division I and probably THE worst team in the BCS conferences. But ISU will drag the Valley down as they have the past few years, particularly last year. Let's just hope aside from our two games against them that they at least look like a semi-decent Division I type team before the end of the season. I'm not counting on that though.
