Very sad news to share. I had the pleasure of getting to know Bob a little bit over the years. What a classy man! He will be missed by many. Please pray for Bob and his family.

Very sad news indeed. I had the pleasure of getting to know Bob and his wife, and they're tremendous people. I had heard Bob was terminally ill. But it is always a sad day to lose one of the all time greats. Unlike most great BU players, Bob and his wife made the Peoria area their home for the past 60 years, and rarely missed a home game. He will be missed. -

Great man/Great player - told all kinds of stories about his playing days, his life, and his grand children playing basketball - he will be missed.
