The one from 6-6 power forward Tyshon Pickett of Dodge City (Kan.) Community College should arrive Thursday. A clerical error caused the delay, Pickett told the Journal Star. Therefore, Bradley coach Geno Ford’s public comments Wednesday were limited to Bell. He chose Bradley over offers from Iowa, Drake, Ohio, Eastern Kentucky and Northern Illinois and received interest from Illinois. “Bradley was better than I expected,” Bell said. “I was surprised at their facilities for basketball."
Pickett was excited about his eventual matriculation to the Hilltop. It was the only school he visited. Other offers came from Niagara, Middle Tennessee State, Siena and Arkansas-Little Rock. “Bradley is a great school,” Pickett said. “The visit was awesome. I saw everything I needed to see. Their coaching staff is wonderful. I’m just happy to be recruited by Bradley.”
No official release from Bradley yet, but it's reported that Tyshon Pickett has signed his LOI and it is en route to Bradley. There should be an official announcement soon.
