looks like Parkside prevented ex-BU head-coach-wannabe Rob Jeter from running up the score by playing them close...
Could it be that Parkside is good? They played UW-M tougher than the played BU.

Curious to see what Quincy does down at UIUC tonight?? They beat Drake by 10 (and I know they had some suspensions & injuries) & then lost to ISU by 40 ( and ISU gave their their freshmen & new-comers a lot of floor time)...I know exhibition games don't mean a lot...but it doesn't look good for Drake?

after barely edging Parkside in their final exhibition - UW-M is off and running in their regular season
by taking on Southwest Minnesota State in their first regular season game - but again they struggled and barely beat SWMS 71-65
Starting PG - ex-Evansville guard Kaylon Williams sat out the D-II game as penalty for a DUI..
But that gave Paris Gulley a chance to start and he did GREAT - 12 pts
(attendance under 2200)

now they head to DeKalb and take on a bad NIU team
