Lawrence "Boogie" Wright Canadian pro debut

In his first game with the Halifax Rainmen Boogie proved what we already know -- that he's good!

Boogie did not start but came off the bench to go 10-14, including 3-4 from 3-pt
and scored 29 points, grabbed 9 rebounds all in 26 minutes... his team, however lost a close one
to the London Lightning 118-110...crowd was nearly 4000

Boogie's pic is displayed on the front page of the website as he is, at least for now, the league's leading scorer @ 29ppg

Boogie absolutely was dominant again in Halifax's game last night..
he came off the bench to go 11-13, and 4-5 from 3-pt range...
he had 26 pts, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals...in his team's 121-95 win over Moncton

Boogie's scoring average is now 22 ppg...

one of Boogie's teammates was booted from the team after fighting with his own players...
does it surprise anyone -- it was DeAndre Thomas - the multi-travelled ex-Kelvin Sampson thug

Also Ex-Brave Antoine Tisby is also putting up very good numbers in Canada for Saint John...

But this article is really funny - and wrong......it says...
"Tisby, 28, is from Kansas City ...He began his college career in his home state
at Allen County Community College where he averaged 17.7 points and 12.4 rebounds per game in 2004"

This definitely comes as a surprise to Bradley fans and Coach Jim Molinari who recruited Tisby to Bradley in 2001, where he played his freshman season averaging 5.5 ppg....before leaving after Coach Mo was fired...

and thus far in the Canadian PRO League -- TWO of the top four scorers are ex-Bradley guys..
