The Dakota Wizards of the D-League drafted Osiris Eldridge in the first round, but have traded him to the Bakersfield Jam.

I am not sure which city would be worse to live in. Bismarck, N.D. is pretty miserable in the winter, but Bakersfield, CA is one of the most boring cities anywhere.

yup -- I've been to Bakersfield -- went there 30 years ago to interview for a position...
and once there - despite driving numerous hours from southern Cal to get there - I immediately turned right around and left - made my decision and never regretted it -- I never wanted to live nor work there just from the looks of the town...

The NBDL starts this week -- tonight is the final exhibition game and it involves Osiris Eldridge's Bakersfield Jam vs. Mexicali...
then Friday the full slate starts...Chris Roberts will soon be back with the Texas Legends...

Ex-Indiana State - Jake Kelly started and scored 5 pts in the Texas Legends' exhibition win over Tulsa -- Jake's roster spot is in jeopardy when Chris Roberts returns...

Ex-Evansville Shy Ely had 8 pts in 12 minutes in Dakota's win over Rio Grande Valley
