If I remember right both he and his brother Lucas were recruited walk-ons from Marshall H.S. in SE Illinois.

That is correct. Marshall, IL is about 10 miles from Terre Haute. They both redshirted year before last with two other area players, Jake Odum (T.H. South) & RJ Mahurin (Rockville). Both of the twins are fundamentally sound and hard-nosed gym rats. Sorry to see him leave but he obviously has greater things in mind and more power to him.
