    Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

So what happens if TB gets another year? Do we get an extra ride or does someone have to go?

Two football players at Washington High School did this in the mid 1980s. Sat out a year of high school because of an injury so they wouldn't lose a year of football.

Not a worry because it will not happen. It pretty much cannot happen, he was not injured both years that he missed, effectively ruling him out of a hardship waiver.

He was not injured. He just possibly could have died if he played. Sounds like a clear hardship case to me.

Whatever happens, we'll have to remain within the 13 scholarship limit, so if somehow TB or any graduating senior could return, the coach has to find a scholarship for him somewhere.

You are thinking way too logically to ever get a job working for the NCAA.

You're not understanding the typical hardship case. TWO years must be lost to injury. TB lost one to health concerns and one was a normal redshirt year. Not a clear hardship case whatsoever, it would actually have to be a special exception.

If Jank gets fired by ISU after the season we can hire him as a consultant. I'm sure he can help BU figure out a way to go over the limit and free up a few spots.

                        JucoJunction article-

Playing in the Jayhawk Conference during the regular season can be quite tough. Tonight one school in the Jayhawk Conference's West Division is preparing for their season opener. Read more about what happened at this Jayhawk Conference school today on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news.

The Conqs of Dodge City Community College will take the floor tonight to start the season versus Tabor College. Earlier in the day Garden State resident Tyshon Pickett decided to end his recruitment. Pickett recently visited Missouri Valley Conference school Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.

Next season Pickett will suit up for the Braves. Teammate RJ McGhee will be down the road about three hours at Eastern Illinois University. The strong post player averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds per game last season for the 19-12 Conqs.

Pickett shot 54 percent (156-287) from the floor.

Looks like they webcast some of his games

EDIT:That must be last years games. I guess they will add some as the year goes on. Or maybe archive them.

No, I understand it. I just think his case may warrant a special exception.

That wasn't the case with Sam Singh and yet he got the sixth year...
