        Not much talk about Giles since Patrick O'Bryant schooled all the Kansas big men, but in a little of a setback for Bill Self, Giles has suffered a fairly serious injury during summer workouts and will need surgery.

          Giles has had surgery on his hand for torn ligaments and will be out 1-2 months, for an injury he suffered dunking the ball while hamming it up in open gym.
