  • Future BU opponent SEMO holds intersquad scrimmage

This should be the best SEMO team in many years. Forward Leon Powell (a former BU recruit) was All-Ohio Valley Conference last year and this year he is a legitimate POY candidate. He was the nation's leading field goal percentage shooter last year. They also have a pretty good former Missouri State wing player 6'6" Michael Porter, a 6'7" transfer from Missouri, Tyler Stone, 7' center Zach House who formerly played at Evansville, and 2 sons of coach Dickey Nutt who are both good shooters. SEMO also has a great freshman class including a super athletic kid from Memphis, Nino Johnson, who could become a starter.
The Southeast Missouri State men's basketball team put the wraps on its first week of preseason practice with a public intrasquad scrimmage. Coach Dickey Nutt saw good and bad during Saturday morning's session at the Show Me Center that consisted of two 20-minute halves with a running clock. About 100 fans attended on ...

And also, one of Bradley's preseason exhibitions is against College of Wooster, the runner up in the national championship game in Division III last year.
Though they lost some talent from last year's team, they will still be pretty good.

This is why I said we will know more about what kind of a team Bradley has after the 2 exb. games, I really wanted us to get Leon Powell back when we supposedly were recruiting him.

The coaches really liked him too back in 2007, when he was a senior at St. Louis Vashon HS. Unfortunately, he fell far short of qualifying.

Bradley looked at him again in 2009 when he graduated from Indian Hills CC, but he was only lightly recruited that year and Bradley had a limited number of scholarships that year.
