Jason
But the fact is that last night was a scrimmage on a Tuesday. Plus all of Greek life has chapter meetings at 9 on Tuesday so a lot of them would have opted out.

Thanks for all the info. on the Red-White Scrimmage.
Encouraging...Sounds like effort was there.
GF has a track record of being able to coach. So, recruiting, recruiting, recruiting will decide the ultimate fate of GF and the Braves program!
PS Playing on campus may not be as important to student attendance as thought/hoped for. Appears BU has a ways to go (parking/audio) before considering more games on campus that count....BUilding for the Future

just about every 7-footer wants to play professional basketball - many having NBA dreams...
that being the case - the smart money would say a year as a redshirt would go along way to helping Nate achieve that

Perhaps two playing seasons at BU for NW wouldn't be such a bad idea after all...
2. KP doing advanced scouting for ISU Red?BUilding for the Future

Maybe students just don't care enough any more.

Was anyone else disappointed in Coach Ford's comments last night? I thought Paula Buscher did a much better job when she spoke about the women's team. I don't get to the "galas" so I was hoping this would be a good chance to hear from the new coach, and he spoke for what -- two minutes?
I enjoyed past scrimmages when Coach Les introduced his players, especially the newcomers, with some personal stories. Coach Buscher did that last night with the story of her player who ran a charity golf outing this summer. All I remember Geno saying was that the program needs to get back to where it needs to be.
I'm for that, and think Geno can be the guy, but really wanted to hear more from him last night.
BTW, Lemon, Shayok, and AT impressed me on the court.Yajusneverno!

That said.....I would rather have NW coming off the bench this season than DH.???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12
