    Homer Drew taught dozens of basketball players how to beat the odds on the basketball court.


    What a devestating blow to one of the nicest guys ever to coach the college game! I've written many times here on how he is such a class act and one of the reasons why college basketball is still one of the greatest sporting events ever to watch despite the corruption that has polluted some aspects of the game.

    My thoughts and prayers go out to Homer, his wife and the rest of his family. Let's hope they can both beat this devestating disease soon!

    It was quite sad when we got the news on campus today. I woke up and that was the headline on the main site. A lot of people still love him here and all the Basketball guys were told about it. Thoughts and prayers to his family. (Back in P-Town for a while!)
