  • ESPN's Valley Preview: BU

A few highlights (I will post link, but you must be an insider)......

Blue Ribbon Yearbook previews the 2011-12 college basketball season, exclusively on Insider.

"Why leave a program that seemed ahead of the one he was taking over?"

Geno answered: administration and fan support. He also touched on recent NCAA trips and great area high schools.

    Returning Players:

Ford talked about DSE and his need to go to the next level.

Also, TB needs to be a huge part and have a great senior year.

Says Walt is the fastest guy he's ever coached.

    New guys:

Ford touched on most of the new players as well. Donivine battling for time at PG, Jalen is a great mid-range shooter, Shayock will get major minutes at SF, Wells they called Shaqwells, and Devon is a little rusty.

Finally, he said he understood Sammy leaving.

    The ratings from Blue Ribbon:

    BACKCOURT: C+
    BENCH/DEPTH: C
    FRONTCOURT: C
    INTANGIBLES: A-

They finished saying the Les years ended badly and change was needed.

Schedule features tough road games, want the kids to be excited, and pump some life into the program.
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

ESPN does a lot of this stuff previewing teams, conferences, and the like...but they have had a history of being terribly wrong on things, too....
and I recall a lot of things that they missed on....one of the worst was...
I recall they were the guys who a year ago said they had asked around and were certain Osiris Eldridge had received a promise and was definitely going in the 2nd round of the draft...

... At the end, of the storm, there's a golden sky. And the sweet silver song of the lark. Walk on, through the wind, walk on, through the rain, though your dreams be tossed, and blown. Walk on, Walk on with hope in your hearts, and you'll never walk alone!
I'm behind you 100% Bradley Braves, You'll Never Walk Alone! BEAT STATE!
