Countdown Clock

Da Coach has added a nice feature to BradleyFans that some of you may not be able to see...

at the top of the main basketball forum page (and most other pages also)
is a clock with a countdown to the Red-White scrimmage, but .......
if you have popups blocked, or if you are using either ad-blocker or Default Style
then you are not able to see the clock...
check it out....thank DC.......

We have stopped posting the ads for a while, and since those spots are now blank, we put the picture of Carver Arena back at the top, and added the countdown clock.

Let me know what you think, or if you have any other suggestions for the countdowns, or for anything else you'd like to see on BradleyFans. Remember, it can't be too complicated (interferes with pages loading) or costly.

Seriously though, is it possible to have the event in white font? That's just my personal preference - maybe stands out a bit more.

We have also gone back to the Google ads- I hope everyone understands that running the website involves server costs and other maintenance costs that we are hoping to try to offset a little with the ads. We're hopeful that at some point operational costs can be self-sustaining.

BTW, I don't know if everyone else sees this ad, since the ads are "targeted" based on what sites you have visited based on the cookies stored on your computer, but I have been getting this Bradley ad, along with some ads for ceiling "fans" -

I don't even see an ad on top right now. Just the clock.

If you don't see the ads, you must have a blocking program running on your computer. Especially if you are at a work terminal, most businesses use them to keep their computers from becoming infested with ads, and viruses. But many home anti-virus, anti-adware/malware programs, or popup blockers will also block the ads. If it is on your personal computer, chances are that you can set the blocker to allow ads from a specific site.
Try clicking the Tools selection on the menu at the top, if you have one.

It seems like I have them sometimes on the home link to "Basketball fan talk" but within a thread, like now, I don't. I'm not complaining!
