That looks like some good bulletin board material for TB!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

I think the writer shows his shortsightedness by generating those lists from looking at last years' stats. Because TB didn't play, I suspect he forgot about him entirely.

On the other hand, the Valley could be a 4-bid league again if TB isn't one of the 20 best players in the conference!

Yes, the answer is- Kyle Korver who was the 2003 MVC Player of the Year, and was drafted with the 22nd pick of the 2nd round of the NBA draft (51st overall in 2003).

The last MVC POY to get drafted in the 1st round of the NBA draft was Anthony Parker in 1996. Since then the MVC POY's have mostly been rather forgettable- Jason Daisy? Rico Hill?, Marcus Wilson? Nate Green? Adam Emmenecker?
There are BCS schools who's reserves would make a better team than a collection of POY's from the MVC over the last 15 years. I'm not trying to knock these guys, but just to show how comparatively weak the overall talent in the MVC has been over the past 15 years if only 1 POY have even made it onto an NBA roster.
If we compare to the POYs of the '70's and '80's, it is not even close- most of those guys were solid NBA players, and in some cases they were NBA All-Stars.

For TB not to be projected as at least a 4th team All MVC certainly isn't because the league is so overloaded with talent.
