  • Illinois beats Austin Peay- Jamar Smith high scorer

Illinois wins easy over Austin Peay 80-35.
    Jamar Smith with 19 points.

Brian Carlwell played, so it looks like he will not redshirt as the article in today's PJ Star discussed.

      Why would you throw up?
Nowhere in the Constitution is healthcare a right. Either is employment insurance, food stamps, and welfare.

I ask what makes the liberal pansies think those are rights?

      Stupid liberals.

Jamar Smith injured his ankle and left the game just about 3 minutes into the 2nd half and didn't return. It is being described as just a sprain.

Smith is going to be out 4-6 due to his high ankle sprain.

This is bad news for us. Rebuilding years are tough as it is. I think hoping for another B-10 title may be out of the question.

                    Exactly.

On the contrary, this is good news for us.

Ahhh... ok, but I don't wish things like this on anybody. I truly wish everyone remained healthy all the time and stayed away from trouble all the time.

But like I have said before, there are 2 key elements that could seriously hurt a team's season:

                    "Injuries and Felonies"

UIUC has one under the "Felonies" category with McBride. Now they are getting hit with the "Injuries".

As much as I am NOT a fan for UIUC, I am two-fold NOT the fan of "Injuries and Felonies".

                    I empathize with UIUC.

Good luck Orange and Blue, get 'solid' soon.
