      let him go please

      I completely agree. I have zero interest in SM. Lets devote the ink to current players and the future of Bradley basketball.why would I have an interest in a player who's only goal would be to beat us if he had a chance. Why can't we move on from SM?

        I'm kind of PO'd that Sammy left, and I feel as if he bailed on his teammates, but he conducted himself with nothing but class while a Brave. He laid it on the line every night, was a team leader, conducted himself well in the classroom and community, and I think still deserves our respect. I wish he had stayed because he could have been referred to as one of the "great ones" in Bradley Basketball history.

        I wish him the best and will still be interested to see how he performs for "the enemy". As always, the thread has a title so if you're not interested in it don't waste your time reading or commenting on it.

          I don't mind the article so much. I was skeptical that Sam would be able to play and now I'm more so. If he finishes the season I will be surprised

            I agree, except I don't consider a team not in the MVC the enemy.
            What part of illegal don't you understand?

              FWIW, I agree with you lefty. I've always thought there was a little more to his injury than was being reported. It may be a chronic condition that he will have to deal with throughout his entire playing career. I'd be surprised if he sees more than 20 mpg ..... Regardless, I wish him well.

                How about recruiting wars and a lack of respect from their arrogant fan base!

                      Most of today's fan base don't remember when Bradley BB was in it's heyday. I do. You have to admit they have been more successful since those days than the Braves besides playing in a more known conference. As for recruiting, that's part of the game.

                        You're right Chico but in my business anyone who you compete with on any part of your business is the ENEMY. Illinois is the 800 lb gorilla and we need to treat them as such.

                          Honest question, do you treat any employee who leaves your company as an enemy? I personally don't, as I've left companies before, and my former co-workers don't wish me ill.

                              he also graduated from Bradley then wanted to pursue a post-grad curriculum that BU did not have - all according to NCAA rules...so in effect he put his academics ahead of athletics.
