People here are moved on. If people want to follow SM, let them. I will. The constant need to bash is not moving on. No one on here here is saying 'what could have been' or 'if we hadn't done this' etc. Just people saying 'he is the enemy,' 'go post on the Illinois board,' etc.

If you don't want to read about SM, DON'T READ THE POST. I don't read half the posts on here anymore but I don't feel the need to tell me people they shouldn't care about the post they posted.

Blow us off? SM doesn't owe me a thing! As I said before, if his teammates still go to visit him then why is it so bad for fans to wish him well rather than saying things like "break a leg Sammy", "get another coach fired", and "traitor".
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

I believe that if Sammy were still here the tune of many would be much different. Sammy is a good kid, got good grades, did volunteer community service willingly, gave 110% while in a Braves uniform, had outstanding character, and stayed out of trouble. He graduated like so many others and chose to move on. We would not be having this negative conversation if Thompson or Egolf were to have left after serving four years....... and at least Sammy graduated. I think it's a shame that so many choose to discredit his skills and disparage his character after all that he has given to Bradley University. smh

I'm not happy that he left but I wish him well...... He deserves at least that much!

If Sammy was still here we wouldn't have this thread. He gave it his all while on the Hilltop and graduated. One of the reasons he came here is gone. I wish him well.

I was thinking like 4th in the Big 10 that should do it....

Zero Arguement at all. Absolutely zero. There is no reason for someone who wants to follow SM not to, and not to post it here.

Check the topics on the board. There have always been numerous topic following the many players who have left Bradley. And we will continue to follow Sammy as well. Once a Brave, always a Brave.

Sammy didn't leave in the middle of the season like another ex-Brave and he was here for 4 seasons. Big difference.

Agreed, Sammy left in a far more classy way, all the more reason to continue following him!

Once a brave always a brave....my butt. Do you think he feels that way?

What was classy about the way he abandoned the school and his team. Just because he said it nicely and made a lame excuse about changing majors?

A lot of you will hold on to anything to look for some thing to cheer about.
