I had not heard that name before.....and he did not play at Southeastern Iowa last year...so no junior college stats on him at this time...
BUT his trail will sound familiar...after finishing high school in 2008, he qualified to play in Great Britain's U20 squad the summer of 2008 because he holds British citizenship.
He then spent an entire year at the Canarias Basketball Academy and in 2009, got a D-I offer and went to Fordham...so his trail sounds a little like MO.
Alihodzic is already 22 y/o and went to high school in Toledo, OH (where Geno probably made contact back then) - before heading overseason, then spending a couple years at Fordham...
His numbers are hard to judge from, because he looks like he definitely got a lot of playing time & even started half Fordham's games in 2009-2010 because of Fordham's depleted roster - 22.3 mpg, among the top 5 players on the team in playing time....
He only played 3 games his soph year then redshirted due to injury....
In two seasons at Fordham he was 54-130, 41.5% FG shooting, pretty bad for a near-7-ft guy who plays right under the hoop...
and only 56% on FT...and 4 ppg/3 rpg overall.........
