  • Wisconsin-Parkside exhibition tickets on sale

Tickets for the first exhibition game are now on sale.....

Thanks for posting...apparently this isn't a well known fact yet.

When I requested "best available", it came up with 2 front row center tickets. I don't ever get to sit that close at Carver, so I'll gladly take it, even if only for a exhibition game.

You're right, I haven't seen any information regarding tickets for this game.....other than the Ticketmaster email alert. I would have thought, with the renewed interest in the basketball program, something would have been announced.

We get an announcement today, a day after tickets went on sale? Where's the buildup for this game? I hope they promote it on campus much better than this!

in prior years - the first exhibition (which was in the Fieldhouse) was not all that well promoted...it was mostly the diehards and message board posters who filled the stands

          example -- 2007
The Red & White got a release just 3 days in advance and not much prior to that...
PEORIA, Ill. -- Dinner in the Haussler Hall gymnasium, autograph sessions with the players, fan participation in a 3-point Shootout, students competing for free books and a slam dunk contest are all events planned for Friday night's Bradley Basketball Red-White Scrimmage, which will be used to open the 2007-08 seasons for both the men's and women's basketball teams.? Friday's festivities will begin with the annual Spaghetti Supper, which had formerly been held at the ITOO Hall on Farmington Road.? Doors will open in Haussler Hall at 4:30 p.m. and dinner will be served by Bradley Athletics staff until 6:30.? The Bradley women's basketball team will be available for autographs at tables stationed around the gymnasium from 4:45 to 5:30, followed by the men's team in another 45-minute session from 5:30 to 6:15.

and the first exhibition in the Fieldhouse got a small paragraph in a news release that was actually for other purposes, and only one day in advance of the exhibition....otherwise since it was not part of the season ticket package, a lot of people just didn't know......
PEORIA, Ill. -- A pair of Bradley Basketball senior guards -- Jeremy Crouch (Pekin, Ill./Pekin H.S.) and Daniel Ruffin (Peoria, Ill./Central H.S.) -- have been named to the 25-player preseason Mid-Major All-America team by the website CollegeInsider.com, topping the list of News and Notes from the Bradley Basketball program today.? In addition, the Braves have announced tri-captains for this season and Michigan State coach Tom Izzo has joined the Braves Club Gameday Luncheon speakers circuit.

They were checking it for spelling and punctuation.

There is quite a bit of additional information regarding purchase dates for the Nov. 8 exhibition game, regular-season games at Carver Arena and the Nov. 16 game versus Southeast Missouri State. There is still nearly a month before the Nov. 1 exhibition game versus UW-Parkside, so hopefully the delay in posting the tickets on sale release did not hamper the ability to buy in a timely manner.

PEORIA, Ill. ? Tickets for the Bradley men's basketball team's two preseason exhibition events in Renaissance Coliseum currently are on sale at the athletics box office.

Obviously not, but most on sale announcements come before the tickets actually go on sale.

Touch?© and my apologies for the delayed release, which probably should have gone out Friday. I do hope the month of presale time lives up to the standard of Dr. Cross' cited quote, however, as opposed to the limited number of days that had always been the standard in the past.
