BracketBusters Update

Nice to see they have a new national corporate sponsor with Sears.
The expanded number of teams will open a few more options for matchups. I have not thought the BracketBusters games have helped MVC teams any the last few years, and maybe it even hurt some teams the last couple years. But the opportunity for a chance at a national TV game is still an attractive draw.
Bradley's BracketBuster game this year will be at Carver Arena.

The Valley is on the way up as far as good teams go so the bracketbusters should be a good thing this season as long as the good teams win their games, it is also good as far as scheduling because you have a chance to try and get some of these schools on your schedule for the future as most bcs schools refuse to play any home and home games, with the addition of more teams it will hopefully give us more to choose from in the coming seasons.

interesting -- as many times as I have heard fans and even AD's and coaches say the BracketBuster failed to help them and they wanted out of BB in the future..
nonetheless, this year there are 142 teams doing it so it grows every year and nobody actually ever does drop out --

You know how when you eat a lot, you gain weight, and you don't want that extra weight to show up in the wrong spot in your body? Like when your posterior gets huge when you gain weight.
This reminds me of BB. They're gaining a lot of weight and it's showing up in the bad places. They're expanding by adding more teams from the bottom third of D-1. None of the teams are leaving because those teams at the bottom third desperately need BB for any kind of media coverage.

However, with all 10 Summit League teams in the BB this year, it is possible Bradley could get another team coached by an ex-Bradley head coach Western Illinois.
