If Butler can make 2 straight championship games and VCU and George Mason can make final fours, why is it impossible for a Bradley team with the best player in his class to make it? Likely, no, but it is really "likely" for any team to make a final four anymore? It is a toss up who will make it once the field is set. If you have a star player or two, and a solid team around them, then it is not out of the realm of possibility for any one to make it once in the tournament.
However, 67 teams still have to lose so everyone has just as much probability to lose in the first round (outside of the top few seeds.) No one can predict the tournament. Just get in and you have a fair shot, and I think this kid can at least get us in the field to have a fair shot. Look at Kentucky, they've been loaded with top talent and have not won the championship anyway, so "realistic" shot is up for interpretation. I know it would be easier to make the tournament at Bradley, and like I said then who knows what can happen from there.
