A Hutchinson junior college kid who had enrolled at Ohio University has left Ohio and transferred to Wichita State.

Mitchell is a Wichita kid who will walk on. Pretty decent for an honorable mention juco AA.
We have two juco kids this year (Carl Hall, James Anacreon).
One for 2012 in Cleanthony Early.
One for 2013 in Earl Watson.
The rest are HS kids:
This year's freshmen: Tekele Cotton, Evan Wessel, Jake White, Ede Egharevba.
2012 high schoolers: Fred VanVleet, Henry Uwadiea and new commit Derail Green (Eric Bossi says he's a likely redshirt next year)
Green's commitment may mean we don't get Perry Ellis. We'll know for sure tomorrow.Comment

With the amount of bigs we lost last year and after this year I think coach is just trying to get some players who he doesn't have to develop (especially physically) as much. With the bigs the Valley gets as freshmen they usually take 2-3 years to really develop into game changers. I think coach is just trying to plug in with the best bigs he can get and have a chance to adjust quicker than a true freshman would. Good freshmen guards are a little more abundant and while you don't want to HAVE to rely on a freshman guard, I think you can get by with it in the Valley a little better than having a bunch of freshmen big men trying to learn how to bang in Div 1.Originally posted by tornado View PostComment

This season WSU's roster shows Anacreon, Armstead, Mitchell, Orukpe, Ragland, and Smith with Watson & Early already committed....
