  • FWO's 25 and Under Trivia

I was intoxicated at a local place downtown and an autographed BU jersey was on the wall. I was trying to identify all the signatures on the jersey and chose this one as the possible hardest (easy for me)

I guess those who were older back then (99.9%) will get this. It would be cool if anyone else around my age remembers him!

I recognize the signature- #55 Adebayo Akinkunle was a first team All MVC and the MVC Defensive Player of the Year his senior year (199. He played for Jim Molinari from 1994-1998, and he was elected to Bradley's Hall of Fame in Dec., 2008.
PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley University will add three individuals and one team to its Athletics Hall of Fame during halftime of its Jan. 10 men's basketball home game versus Creighton at Carver Arena.? The 2009 induction class also will be featured during the Braves Club Gameday Luncheon Jan. 9 at the Michel Student Center.? The Class of 2009 includes former basketball star Adebayo Akinkunle, women's cross country and track runner Deb Knieja-Ognar and volleyball player Jenny Pavlas, as well as the 1987-88 men's basketball team.? By sweeping the Missouri Valley Conference regular-season and tournament championships and playing in the NCAA Tournament, the 1987-88 men's basketball team will receive photo status in the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame.

after playing 4 years of pro basketball in Germany, he played 1 summer for the Lakers summer league team, then had a tryout with the Memphis Grizzlies. He then finished his pro career with 1 year in China and 2 years in Japan where he averaged a double-double. He retired because of chronic knee problems, and now lives in Chicago. I have seen and talked with him a couple times this summer, and he is doing well.

Ha, not quite, but I didn't know that excluded me from a guess.

1998 is not that long ago, is it?
