  • OT: Alzheimer's Association

I ran this past DaCoach before posting and would like to thank him for allowing me to do so!

First, let me say this is a charity that is very near and dear to me as both of my grandmothers are currently living with this terrible disease and it's absolutely heartbreaking to witness the progression over such a short period of time.

My brother works for Cummins Motors in Columbus, IN and his Warranty Parts and Service team is asking for donations to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association.

    *** Donation Page: http://walktoendalz.kintera.org/faf/...upId=334141738 ***

I am trying to raise at least $100, please forward to anyone that may be able to contribute. No amount is too small, this disease affects many people and their loved ones.
I am contributing the donations I raise along with the rest of the Cummins Warranty group that are participating. Please help if you can! Thank you.

    Regards,

    Brett Stalnaker
    RapidServe Engineer - Catastrophic Group
    Cummins Inc.

He doesn't know I'm doing this and I think it would be great if his donation total went well past his goal of $100 because of BradleyFans.

    Thanks for the support!

    Shaun

I have been a supporter of the Alzheimer's Association in the past, and hardly anyone hasn't had this disease affect someone in their family or someone they know. We are a long way from understanding the cause of dementia, and so far, we are not close to an effective treatment or cure. It is becoming a much more common disease, and affects 1 in 50 people, about 6 million in the US, and 1 in 8 people age 65 and older.
It is expected to affect twice as many people by 2030.

Here are some other facts about the disease-
Get information and resources for Alzheimer's and other dementias from the Alzheimer's Association.

I encourage everyone to help this cause if they can.
