Hearing the same thing DC...Walt and Jordan

This is correct. We need JP to develop to his potential. Kid's got Big 10 body ... don't see many his size in the Valley with legit skills.

DSE may be 1st team all MVC this year (at least I'm hopeful )

          JP.

His back to the basket game is something every team needs and I don't see any other BU player with the kind of low post skills he has.

surprising as JE can't shoot from the outside.

although someone mentioned they heard it is improving?

I don't think an improvement in your jump shot from sophomore to junior year in college is worth anything though.

I think Taylor and DSE will both make 1st or 2nd team MVC.
I would rather have 1 guy making 2nd team with 3 other guys who deem consideration for 2nd team rather than 1 guy making 1st team & 1 making 2nd team with nobody else receiving consideration.

The 2nd scenario may be our case, but I think other guys like WL, JE, JP will provide some extra scoring punch so we don't rely so heavily on our 2 main weapons.

To me, JE has a pretty high basketball IQ. I wouldn't be surprised if when switched to play his primary position, we see a big improvement, and we can see his b-ball savvy at work, and hopefully he'll see his role as an outside threat and not be so hesitant to shoot the 3 when he's got the opportunity.

You can't make a bigger improvement from not playing last year to All-Conference.

                    TB!
Truth. However, I'm already penciling TB in as all conference, so I left him off my options and instead went with Lemon. I think he's going to get a lot of time this year in Geno's system to "show off."

One big key for WL is to be under control, while staying agressive and utilizing his quickness. I remember the Roadrunner moving too fast sometimes, leading to careless mistakes (at least the few times that I actually watched him)

If his shot is truly improved, that will only make the lane easier to attack with the ball or getting it on the move.

Now I know the WL has some very good skills taking it to the rack, but could the bolded above be more of an indictment of our defense at this point in the fall? Personally, I'm much more worried about the defensive side of the ball.

I think that our most improved player will be AT. He's got to play, and there's nowhere to go but up. I've seen a few stretches where he's looked great. Just too few and far between.

With Walt's athleticism, AW graduating, and no real cutter/slasher option other than DSE, I say Walt is poised for great things. I base this mainly on comments from this board and other "thru the grapevine" comments on Walt's work ethic.

Lots of players have talent, it's the drive that separates the truly successful from the underachievers. It seems Walt has a real good chance to be a very good player here.

This topic will also be an interesting post season conversation because it will be interesting to see how last seasons experienced players perform this season under a new coaching staff, how they are used, where they are placed on the floor, how many minutes they play.

Anyone hear how MK is doing? I'm interested to see if he improves this year or not.
