The lofty price they are paying their head coach looks like it is paying off at least o nthe recruiting end. Could this be the beginning of a DePaul resurrection?
Personally I would like to see ISU get something going with them in the near future. -
Marrero is a fine player -- lots of big schools were after him -- but DePaul is probably MOST loaded at the wing position SG & SF.....but it sure doesn't hurt if they stock up deeper...

Marrero's list and who he actually still had offers from was very different.
He is just one of those early maturing ones that doesn't get better, he's probay in the 15-20 area in IN in 2012.

Some reports say DePaul has landed a Class of 2011 (eligible right now) point guard out of Lawson State CC - Worrel Clahar - 6-0 pg, originally from New York then Covington, GA and previously recruited by Drake before he went to juco...
At Lawson State - he averaged 14 pts & 7 asst as a freshman, then 12 pt/7 asst as a soph this past season.
he's also a 50% 3-pt shooter.
He takes the scholarship just vacated by Shane Larkin.
