Thus far everything I have been saying about the NCAA for decades and even predicting would happen -- continues to happen almost on a daily basis...
where they go strong, hard, and fast after all the smaller programs who commit even minor violation ..
but whenever a big time program gets caught - it is usually because the evidence gets into the press or blogs and the NCAA no longer has any way to hide or pretend they don't see it -- but by contrast the NCAA takes their sweet time, and finally hands down meaningless penalties that never seem to hurt the schools that are the biggest cheaters.
I suspect it will never change...
If you missed it and want good reading -- here's what the Long Beach State folks have to say -- they are learning first hand how hypocritical all the big wigs in the NCAA are -- hammering the little guys -- all the while ignoring and enabling the massive cheating going on at their beloved big schools.
