I guess I am puzzled why an opinion can bother someone so much but I don't mind being one of the few here who sees the facts and calls it as I see it....
The Georgetown player erupted and took the very first swing, that seems to be accepted and undeniable.
As soon as those facts are presented, then suddenly we see excuses such as "we didn't see what happened earlier" and "Georgetown got called for more fouls", etc..
But, of course, maybe they were the ruffians and deserved those fouls and maybe they also threw punches earlier that we did not see. If you wanna make you're whole argument on speculation and stuff we did not see, then fine...but I prefer to stick with what can be verified.
I respect opposing views but I won't ridicule them even if they are clearly wrong -- you're still entitled to view it as you wish.
Anyway -- if you throw punches just about anywhere else, you get arrested for assault - here some just view them as the pitied victims...but I don't.Last edited by tornado; 08-21-2011, 08:06 AM.

I guess I am puzzled by the gotcha phenomenon.
To some people, the most important thing in life is to try to find something said by another poster that they can distort or exaggerate to try to point out is wrong or hypocritical. Maybe it makes them feel better about themselves. We already seem to have a few people who have made it their entire mission in life.
I don't see anything wrong about any of the opinions stated in this thread.
And, as has always been one of the rules of this board, if you have an opinion, make it about the topic, not about another poster.
