Biggest Question Mark for the Braves this year?

My biggest question mark goes to whether BU is able to find someone to be a knock down shooter/3pt threat. We know we have guys who can penetrate in TB, WL, DSE & even JE. Unless there is someone who can consistently draw out the D, the opponents will just pack the lane. Hoping the BU guards, JE & MK can find a way to open the driving lanes by spreading out the defenders.

The biggest question is how quickly the players adapt to Geno and his staff. Athletes will perform, but how well will they grasp Geno's offensive and defensive strategies?
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

I think the biggest question marks are injuries and depth and factors outside of basketball..

I'll say rebounding since the Braves only return two established rebounders.

It's hard for me to really add much since I'm in the dark about most of the team and coaching staff. I couldn't even make a good guess on the last two guys to round out the starting lineup in the other thread. I'm hoping one of these new guys comes in with the ability to rebound.

Love his energy and how he can get to the basketball but cringe when he shoots anything ouside 7'.
Walt is not a bad shooter IMO - I think a lot is about confidence. He showed last year when he was confident, he could nail a shot from anywhere.
I think Walt will be a big key to the Braves' success this year, which leads to my biggest question mark for BU:

How much depth will we have? Will we have 9-10 guys who can give us good production?

I don't know if any of us knows the roles of all our guys - maybe not even Geno yet.
How will Milos, Jake, Walt be used, and will they be used to bring out their strengths? (I don't feel they were last year) What can our newcomers bring to the table?

Our depth is the key to this coming season - hopefully all will stay healthy - if we have a couple minor injuries throughout the year, I expect others to fill their shoes. The 2 key guys we can't afford to have injured are TB and DSE - they are irreplaceable. I have little doubt both of them will end up on Valley 1st or 2nd team.

I talked to Walt at the community event in Washington. He said he is working at the point quite a bit. He has also done a lot of work on his shot, it's improved, and fans will notice it has changed a little.

Walt shot 41.9% overall last season, which is second only to Dyricus (43.4%) among returning guards. He also shot 32.4% from three, which is not great, but it is, by far, the best 3-point shooting percentage on the team among returning players.

For me the word is development. How are the players developing this off season to improve their game, are they developing towards the position that they can help the team most at, are they developing towards Geno's new team style, etc.? I think the development that is happening now is, obviously, critical since we are going to be relying on a healthy amount of talent that falls in three categories of being new to DI basketball, having below average experience in DI basketball, or having not played in DI basketball for an extended period of time.

I too agree the non-con games will be tough to watch..and I think a 5th place finish would be huge. I just hope we can stay out of Thursday. Despite that, I'm still excited to see what this team can do.

                        Have to agree completely.
Unless someone here has seen a practice w/ all of the coaches present to see what we have, (which hasn't happened yet) we are all assuming from what we have been told or what we remember the players in the old system.
I am pretty sure the old system has been scrapped or we wouldn't have had to make a coaching change

Can Geno Ford tie Dick Versace's Bradley record of taking a team from last place to first place in one season

UTEP (#10 seed) played Bradley (#7 seed) in the first round of the 1986 NCAA Tournament. The first half showed a better representation of the 86 Miner team. ...
