  • Summer Braves Haiku!

    Dog days of summer
    Waiting for Braves basketball
    Time slowly drags on

November can't get here soon enough!

Any other haiku poets out there who can help time go by waiting for BU Basketball?

With the last week of 79 to 80 degree highs and this week also looking to be 81 most of the week I can wait a little longer for the fall to begin, this is the best time for golf just wish our courses were in better shape .

I can't even tell you the difference betw/ a haiku and a lowku.

Just remember "sonnet" from high school days...which seem so long ago now...and I haven't reached 40 yet.

              I picked five starters
Only two guards picked by me
              One winner five years
              Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
