  • Thank You

I am not sure how many of you had an opportunity to visit any of the three stops on the inaugural Bradley Braves Community Nights tour this week, but I wanted to thank all of those who were able to join us. We really had no idea what the response would be to the events, but we were excited to see so many Bradley fans at all three stops. I hope everyone who attended got the opportunity to talk to our student-athletes, coaches and staff members and felt that it was an overall good experience.

Kudos should go out to Erin Kraebber for all of her hard work organizing the events, as well as Bradley staffers Andy Reilly, Jason Fairfield and Tessi Taylor for their setup and breakdown work. We'd also like to thank our hosts at the Avanti's Dome, Hickory Grove Park and Five Points, as well as Prairie Farms for providing the ice cream.

Based on the response we received this week, I am sure we will continue the tour in the future and will try to grow the events.

one suggestion -- hold one of these early events at Renaissance Arena so some who have never yet seen nor experienced the new arena - and who may be biased only by unfounded rumors or erroneous comments - might actually see how incredible and awesome the arena is..

See my suggestions on the other thread.
      Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
